Philippe Bovet - Divin
Particularly flattering and greedy, it gradually reveals itself to the taster...
DESSERT wine from La Côte
The property
Descendant of a winemaker great-uncle, Philippe Bovet became independent in 2002, taking over the old family estate. Located in Givrins sur La Côte, between the edge of the lake in Nyon and the foot of the Jura. He cultivates 15 different grape varieties on 10 hectares of which all the vines were planted in the 80s. A self-taught winemaker, with the help of an ultra-modern cellar, he adopts the standards of integrated production, thus limiting yields to concentrate the taste of each grape.
The vineyard
Vineyard
Located 450 m above sea level in clay-limestone soils and light moraine.
Grape varieties
Pinot Noir - Swiss Country Wine - "Valais"
Vinification and aging
Raisined Pinot Noir.
Raising is a wine-making process that enriches the grapes with sugar by concentration. The grape loses up to three times its volume in water to concentrate the sugar.
Tasting
The robe
Beautiful cherry red robe.
The nose
A bouquet with notes of red fruits and cherry jam.
The taste
A frank and silky mouth for this dessert wine. We find the candied cherry and a cocoa side.
