Jean-François Jacouton - St Joseph "Pierres d'Iserand"
This cuvée displays mineral energy and focuses on complex flavors, A pleasantly good red St Joseph!
In 2010, Jean-François Jacouton created his cellar after having gained experience in different regions and his apprenticeship with one of the great winegrowers of the northern Côtes du Rhône such as "Le Domaine Courbis". Help in these beginnings by Maurice Courbis for the purchase of vines and Joël Durand for the vinification. He will first recover the vines of his grandfather André who is a few kilometers from Tournon. Then now, he works 6 hectares of vines without weed killer on several appellations, the main one being Saint Joseph. Since the creation of the estate, its philosophy has been to produce more sustainably and in a reasoned way.
Resulting from a plot selection on the slopes of Vion. The twenty-year-old vines are planted on steep hillsides with granite soil.
