Jean-François Jacouton - Syrah "À Deux Pas" - Ardèche rouge
A wine "of Buddies" which is located "A stone's throw" from the St Joseph appellation.
In 2010, Jean-François Jacouton created his cellar after having gained experience in different regions and his apprenticeship with one of the great winegrowers of the northern Côtes du Rhône such as "Le Domaine Courbis". Help in these beginnings by Maurice Courbis for the purchase of vines and Joël Durand for the vinification. He will first recover the vines of his grandfather André who is a few kilometers from Tournon. Then now, he works 6 hectares of vines without weed killer on several appellations, the main one being Saint Joseph. Since the creation of the estate, its philosophy has been to produce more sustainably and in a reasoned way.
The 35-year-old vines are planted in granite soil.
