The property

In 2010, Jean-François Jacouton created his cellar after having gained experience in different regions and his apprenticeship with one of the great winegrowers of the northern Côtes du Rhône such as "Le Domaine Courbis". Help in these beginnings by Maurice Courbis for the purchase of vines and Joël Durand for the vinification. He will first recover the vines of his grandfather André who is a few kilometers from Tournon. Then now, he works 6 hectares of vines without weed killer on several appellations, the main one being Saint Joseph. Since the creation of the estate, its philosophy has been to produce more sustainably and in a reasoned way.

The vineyard

From a terroir on the heights of the Village of Vion (altitude 400m), above the St Joseph appellation. The vines are planted on a plateau above the Rhône with granite ridges.
